PRIVACY

Your practice, in your browser.

Last updated: 22 October 2026.

No account required

The trainer runs in your browser. There are no accounts, payments or advertising scripts. We use Google Analytics 4 on the public site to understand page visits and tool usage. Analytics is disabled on localhost.

Saved practice score

Practice mode stores your score in this browser’s local storage so it can be restored on your next visit. It is not sent to a SimTheOdds application database. You can reset your score in the trainer or remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.

Replay links

Your simulation settings and shuffle seed appear in the page URL. Anyone you share that link with can replay those deals. URLs may also be saved in browser history and recorded in hosting access logs. Do not put personal information into replay links.

Hosting and external resources

Your browser contacts the site’s hosting service to load pages and assets. Hosting services may process technical request information such as IP addresses and requested URLs.

The current design loads fonts from Google Fonts. This sends a request to Google, which receives technical information such as your IP address. See Google Fonts’ privacy information. Links to rules and research open third-party websites with their own privacy practices.

Report requests

To save a PDF report, we ask for your first name and email. We send these, the requesting page path and the site name to Supabase’s checklist_subscribers table. We do not send your simulation results with this form. The report is generated in your browser after the save succeeds; it is not emailed. Submitting alone does not opt you into marketing. If you tick the optional marketing checkbox, we record your marketing choice, consent date and the version of the checkbox wording alongside your report request. This lets us contact you with SimTheOdds updates, new trainers and strategy tips. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing play@simtheodds.com; future marketing emails must also include an unsubscribe link. We retain these request records until you ask us to delete them.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 may use cookies and process technical and usage information, including page visits and browser/device information. Form names and email addresses are not sent as analytics event parameters. A failed report-request save records only its error status. See Google’s privacy policy. You can block analytics through your browser’s privacy controls.

Data requests

To request access to or deletion of a report-request record, email play@simtheodds.com. Include the email address used for the report request.
